My duties
  • Manage complex engineering projects in the consumer industry, as a part of a cross-functional team (in-house and external EMS staff) including engineering, testing, NPI, and manufacturing
  • Facilitate communication and enable your colleagues to deliver optimal results
  • Own process engineering functional expertise in terms of DfX, Testing Platforms (AOI), act as the IPC expert on behalf of the LEGO Group
  • Help resolve complex engineering, manufacturing, and delivery challenges 
  • Drive process engineering function of development projects
  • Ensure accurate risk analysis & highlight proper data or information
  • Develop technical solutions for complex new functions and elements according to function and design specification, requirements from LEGO® standards 
  • Verify performance and functional properties of technical solutions according to the specifications 
  • Drive technology exploration within mechanical and electronic functions, by evaluating emerging technologies and helping transform technology into new play experiences in the early stages of concept and project definitions
My qualifications
  • Experience within mechanical engineering, process engineering, mechatronics, or similar
  • Experience within design in 3D CAD systems  
  • Solid experience managing complex engineering projects
  • Experience working on projects in the automation industry with a high level of design process
  • Knowledge of DFX methodology (mainly DFM) and understanding of electronic test platforms and IPC industry preferred 
  • Professional English skills are required
  • Experience with injection molding and plastic materials
  • Solid experience with equipment development
  • Knowledge of production and assembly methods DFX and/or IPC certification is a plus
