Backend Software Engineer (Python & AWS) (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications with clean, scalable code; manage API integrations and data exchange
- Resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis, implementing preventive measures for system stability
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into robust solutions
- Coordinate releases and deployments, including change management and rollback strategies
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks for architecture and processes
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards
Profile
- Proficiency in Python, with additional experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular considered an asset
- Strong background in AWS services, particularly in developing serverless microservices and APIs, as well as familiarity with container infrastructure (Docker, AWS ECS Fargate)
- Experience in RESTful API design and development, experience with NoSQL (Redis) is advantageous
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Understanding of terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines, code versioning, and collaboration
