- For our customer, we are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Compensation and Benefits, to lead and shape our client’s total rewards strategy. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of compensation frameworks, benefits design, and market trends. The position involves close interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and colleagues across various regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage compensation and benefits strategies across the organization
- Lead benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures
- Oversee annual salary reviews, bonus schemes, and incentive programs
- Evaluate job grades, salary ranges, and job descriptions to ensure alignment between role responsibilities, organizational level, and compensation
- Manage relationships with external providers (e.g., pension and insurance providers)
- Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws and applicable regulations
- Advise senior leadership on compensation trends and workforce planning
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in total rewards offerings
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure employee service excellence
Profile
- Proven experience in a senior compensation and benefits role, ideally in a multinational environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making
- In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits programs, and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Fluency in English; German advantageous
