    Global Payroll Manager (m/f/d)

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Payroll Manager to oversee and optimize payroll operations across our client’s network. This is a critical role that ensures payroll compliance, accuracy, and efficiency during a time of ambitious international expansion. You will work closely with our client’s HR, and Operational teams to design and implement scalable payroll processes that support the growth across multiple countries.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Payroll Management
    • Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries
    • Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing in compliance with local regulations and internal policies
    • Manage relationships with the payroll provider, ensuring SLA compliance and service quality
    • Ensure statutory reporting, social security declarations, tax submissions, and audit processes are completed accurately and on time
    • Own and maintain payroll calendars for all countries

    Expansion & Compliance
    • Support payroll setup for new countries Handle payroll-related tax queries, particularly in Denmark
    • Collaborate with Legal and external advisors to ensure payroll compliance in new jurisdictions
    • Drive the selection and onboarding of new payroll providers as needed

    Process Improvement & Systems
    • Lead the standardization and optimization of payroll processes and documentation across all countries
    • Partner with HRIS, Finance, and IT to improve data flow and automation between systems (e.g., HIRS, local payroll platforms) • Monitor and implement best practices to support payroll scalability and efficiency

    Leadership & Collaboration
    • Act as the main point of contact for all payroll matters
    • Provide training and guidance to local HR teams and management on payroll processes and timelines
    • Work closely with Finance for payroll reconciliation, accruals, and audits
    • Support internal and external audits, including statutory and tax audits

    You will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, who is based in Paris and work closely with the CFO, Finance team, HR team, and HR Advisors to manage payroll, budgeting, and compliance tasks. You will also partner with the legal team to ensure consistency in employee contracts and policies.
