Project information
- As part of the implementation of the new SLM system (Teamcenter), additional work is required to clean up and validate existing CATIA assemblies. The aim of this assignment is to process high-priority part numbers from the specialist departments on schedule, in order to ensure data quality for these departments and to avoid any impact on ongoing development and customer projects.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning up CATIA assemblies in accordance with the specified guidelines
- Adjusting structure, attribute and relationship information within the assemblies
- Ensuring consistency between CAD data and the associated product structures
- Identifying and documenting anomalies, and liaising with the relevant departments
- Carrying out corrections in accordance with defined quality standards
- Preparing the data for further processing in the new SLM system
- Assisting with the validation and quality assurance of the processed data
- Documenting the processing status and the completed work packages
Profile
- Good knowledge of CATIA V5
- Experience in working with complex assemblies and product structures
- Experience in cleaning up and quality assurance of CAD data
- A basic understanding of PLM/SLM processes would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Good communication and coordination skills with specialist departments
