Mechanical Assembly Operator (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Perform the mechanical integration of components, sub-assemblies, and systems for space projects in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out bonding/adhesive activities (e.g., SW2216, Silver Glue, Masterbond)
- Document all integration steps to ensure full traceability
- Support test campaigns, particularly in handling hardware and performing mechanical tasks
- Provide technical support to the IVVQ team regarding integration planning and processes
- Collaborate with design and technology teams to optimize Design for Integration
- Perform incoming inspections of components and assemblies when required
- Pack hardware for storage and transportation
- Optional: Perform mechanical machining of components (e.g., drilling, milling, CNC)
Profile
- Solid experience in mechanical assembly and integration
- Experience with bonding technologies, ideally SW2216
- Strong understanding of technical and mechanical drawings (including CAD)
- Solid experience as a Mechanical / Assembly Operator
- Experience in high-precision industries (e.g. space, avionics, aerospace, defence, or watchmaking industry)
- Ability to work independently without detailed step-by-step instructions
- Very high level of precision and quality awareness
