SAP S/4HANA Architect (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Design and govern the overall S/4HANA system architecture across all production and non-production landscapes (application servers, HANA DB, gateway, Fiori, output management).
- Size and scale application server tiers (dialog/background/spool/enqueue/gateway), including workload management, logon groups, RFC destinations, and batch strategies.
- Define and implement HA/DR concepts such as HANA System Replication, application server clustering, enqueue replication, backup & restore processes, and failover testing.
- Establish transport and release management strategies (CTS/CTS+, ChaRM), landscape governance, retrofit processes, and release cycles.
Profile
- Extensive experience as an SAP S/4HANA Architect or SAP Basis Architect.
- Deep expertise in S/4HANA system architecture (app servers, HANA DB, Fiori, gateway, Output Management).
- Strong knowledge of HA/DR patterns (System Replication, clustering, enqueue replication).
- Advanced performance analysis skills across DB, ABAP, UI, and integration layers using SAP standard tooling.
- Proven experience in Spool/Output Management and high-volume industrial label printing environments.
- Strong background in SAP printing technologies (Zebra/ZPL, BarTender, Loftware, NiceLabel, SAPSprint, CUPS).
- Solid understanding of SAP interface technologies (IDoc, RFC, PI/PO/CPI, OData).
- Experience in SAP security standards (SSO, SAML2, OAuth2, certificates, PFCG, GRC).
