Project information
- We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Security Developer to strengthen our CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) engineering team to work with Emposo - Hays Company for Statement of Work (Werkvertrag)
Responsibilities
- Design, operate, maintain, and optimize build pipelines for embedded firmware
- Ensure software quality assurance across: Linux kernel, Drivers, Application layer
- Integrate and manage security scans and vulnerability checks
- Drive automation of development and CI/CD processes
- Perform minor adjustments and improvements to existing code
- Enable legacy codebases to run within modern build pipelines
- Coordinate and steer third-party vendors delivering firmware images and source code
- Establish and enforce firmware image security assurance processes
- Lead and guide solutions based on: PrplOS
Profile
- Experience in embedded firmware development
- Extensive knowledge in the field of C and C++
- Experience designing or operating build pipelines (CI/CD)
- Code quality assurance / testing
- Experienced in security testing, vulnerability identification, and mitigation
- Linux kernel development & customization
- Driver development
- OpenWRT / DD-WRT
- PrplOS ecosystem
- Telecommunications hardware: ONTs, CPEs, FTTH
