Responsibilities
- Analyze existing systems, codebases, and technical documentation while understanding architectures and dependencies
- Develop backend or full-stack components and implement both business and technical requirements
- Design and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs, including integration of distributed systems
- Develop modern software solutions using Java, Python, and TypeScript/JavaScript in complex environments
- Design and optimize relational databases, including data modeling and performance tuning (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Ensure high code quality by applying clean code and SOLID principles, conducting code reviews, and implementing automated tests
- Work within containerized and cloud-based environments and support CI/CD and DevOps processes
- Collaborate within agile teams, contribute to technical documentation, and support troubleshooting and production operations
Profile
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, with professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring / Spring Boot) and solid experience in Python
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React or Angular, as well as API development
- Solid understanding of microservices, service-oriented architectures, and modern cloud-ready system landscapes
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code
- Good knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including optimization
- Experience working in agile environments and the ability to operate independently in complex technical landscapes
- Very good English skills and strong communication and teamwork abilities
