Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and support activities for campus, data center, and wide area networks, as well as network security solutions
- CPP relies heavily on the availability and performance of its infrastructure solutions. Our primary responsibility is to ensure these in line with agreed service levels and cost targets
- Participate in projects, including both solution-driven innovation projects and acting as the infrastructure lead in business and application-related projects
- Project and design scope includes CPP locations in Romania, Singapore, and Australia, as well as network integration with other Canon entities worldwide
Profile
- Bachelor-level mindset with the ability and ambition to grow into senior-level infrastructure roles
- Solid knowledge of and strong interest in IT networking
- Hands-on experience is an advantage. CPP is currently migrating from Cisco to HPE Aruba switches and WLAN
- Experience with Check Point and F5 solutions for firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs is a plus
- Ability to focus on efficient and effective operational excellence within defined guidelines
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners and customers
- Strong communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus
