Your
entry points:

There are several ways to start your recruitment career at Hays:

For example become a Recruitment Specialist as part of our sales teams or work in Active Sourcing, supporting our recruitment consultants.

In both roles, you’ll be responsible for filling vacancies at client companies with qualified professionals and executives – making a significant contribution to the success of our services. As a recruitment specialist, you’ll also work in an international environment, communicating with clients and candidates across borders.

What You Can Expect:

Working closely with our sales team, you’ll manage the entire recruitment process – from initial research and proactive outreach to contract signing. You’ll ensure an efficient process and a positive candidate experience.

After an internal briefing on the client’s requirements and desired skills, you’ll search for suitable experts in our internal Hays talent database as well as on social networks and job boards. By screening profiles and conducting phone or face-to-face interviews, you’ll ensure the right match and make well-informed selections based on the role’s requirements.

You’ll also negotiate fees with candidates and prepare their CVs for client presentation. Throughout the process, you’ll maintain close contact with candidates, keep them informed, drive the process forward, and keep them engaged – especially when timelines are longer. Once the contract is signed, you’ll hand over the case to your back-office colleagues in a structured way.
