Secondary Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review substation documentations, for example, single line diagram, protection diagrams, interlocking diagrams, AC and DC drawings, calculations, control and protection panel drawings, IED configurations, cabling and bills of materials
- Provide technical evaluation of supplier proposals and accepts as fit for purpose supplied equipment or services
- Provide technical support during pre-FAT and FAT stage, handling installation and commissioning activities. Prepare project documentation within one's scope of deliverables
- Participate in testing and commissioning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project manager, design (Lead, Primary, Civil and commissioning), planner, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project integration and successful outcomes in international project environment
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation, and encouraging employee involvement in problem-solving and process enhancement

Profile
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical engineering
- Fluent spoken and written English. Other language skills (e.g., Finnish, Swedish and Danish) are considered as an advantage
- Proactive, result-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as reliability and ability to work under pressure
- Willing to enter into international projects
- Travel is required; up to 20% both domestic (Finland) and international
- Previous experience of engineering work related to High and Medium voltage substations is considered as an advantage
- Experience in design software such as E3, AutoCAD, PCM600 is considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of substation control and protection systems is considered as an advantage
