AI & Machine Learning Program & Transformation Lead (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Identify, structure, and prioritize AI (including Generative AI), machine learning, and automation use cases in close collaboration with business units
- Conduct workshops and requirements analyses to design business-oriented, value-generating use cases
- Translate business requirements into concrete AI/ML and automation solutions, including conceptual and technical design
- Ensure a strong focus on measurable business value, such as revenue growth, efficiency gains, process optimization, and overall business impact
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the implementation of prioritized use cases through to successful production deployment
- Manage and coordinate internal teams and external service providers in a global delivery environment
- Establish and continuously develop AI/ML governance, including processes, standards, guidelines, and transparency across initiatives
- Develop and refine a company-wide AI/ML strategy aligned with IT, data, cloud, and ERP strategies
- Ensure platform and technology alignment as well as seamless integration into existing enterprise architectures, including make-or-buy decisions (cost, scalability, time-to-market)
- Drive a balanced operating model between centralized governance and decentralized innovation, including stakeholder collaboration, facilitation of decision-making bodies, and compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
Profile
- Proven experience in leading and implementing AI, machine learning, and automation initiatives with a clear business focus
- Ability to translate technical requirements into scalable AI/ML use cases and solutions
- Experience in establishing and further developing AI/ML strategies and governance structures
- In-depth understanding of modern AI and machine learning approaches (including the use of ML models and generative AI) and their integration into existing system landscapes
- Experience in stakeholder management and in communicating with business units and executives
- Experience in orchestrating complex programs and initiatives at the enterprise level
- Ability to evaluate economic, technical, and organizational aspects of AI/ML initiatives
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements in the AI context, as well as sensitivity to risks and compliance issues
