Scientific Researcher (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory-based activities related to the reception, registration, and storage of human biosamples
- Handle tracking, inventory, processing, and transport of biological samples from clinical and non-clinical studies
- Manage associated metadata to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer needs
- Conduct inventory checks such as freezer content verification and sample status reviews
- Monitor temperatures, freezer capacities, and overall sample integrity
- Ensure operational excellence in quality, service levels, cost efficiency and compliance
- Support smooth laboratory operations within a BSL-2 environment
- Contribute to reliable sample lifecycle management in accordance with GCP and ethical standards
Profile
- BSc or equivalent degree in Biomedical Research (no PhD)
- Strong industry experience as a Lab Technician or Research Associate in a biosample-handling environment
- Hands-on experience with LIMS and other sample data management systems
- Familiarity with GCP requirements, BSL-2 laboratory practices, and ethical considerations for human samples
- Proven experience in sample reception, registration, storage, and shipment
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and propose practical solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Customer-oriented mindset with experience supporting research needs efficiently and accurately
