Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, testable software components for fullstack cloud applications
- Embed test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) principles
- Define and execute comprehensive test plans including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using various testing frameworks
- Run performance, stress, and scalability tests to optimize system performance
- Utilize cloud services for test environments and parallel test execution
- Act as a quality ambassador in cross-functional teams and report test outcomes and defect trends
- Continuously evolve test processes by integrating new tools and refining strategies
Profile
- Software development experience with a focus on test automation and quality assurance in cloud environments
- Proven experience in designing and implementing full-stack test automation strategies
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to align technical quality goals with business expectations
- Experience with the following Tools: Python (or another comparable like JavaScriptetc); PyTest, JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, Cypress
- CI/CD experience: GitLab C/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, including services like Lambda, S3, EC2 etc.
- Databases: PostgreSL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL
