Engineering Planner (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Maintenance scheduling - Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all plannable activities, including planned and unplanned tasks
- Deadline escalation - Escalate any planned task not completed by its due date
- Cross department communication - Liaise with production scheduling and customer departments to ensure equipment availability for maintenance
- Weekly planning leadership - Lead weekly maintenance planning meetings to ensure issues are captured and resolved for on time delivery
- Resource coordination - Ensure all planned activities are properly resourced, including arranging external contractors when needed
- Material and spare parts control - Procure and allocate required materials, spares, and consumables
- KPI reporting - Prepare and deliver maintenance planning and performance reports at agreed intervals
- Process improvement - Continuously review and improve planning and scheduling processes to ensure Lean and compliant maintenance
- Breakdown coordination - Act as the primary liaison with the workshop during breakdowns to organize troubleshooting activities
- Additional duties - Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager
Profile
- Engineering qualification - HND/HNC in an engineering or technical discipline
- Maintenance experience - Strong practical knowledge of maintenance across diverse equipment, ideally in a pharmaceutical/GMP environment
- Planning expertise - Solid understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles
- SAP PM proficiency - Expert-level user of SAP PM
- Language skills - Fluency in both English and German
- Troubleshooting coordination - Experience organizing troubleshooting and breakdown response activities
- Maintenance coordination - Ability to align planned maintenance with production schedules and personnel availability
- Attention to detail - Strong accuracy, logical decision making, and tenacity
- Team collaboration - Effective team worker with a shaper/completer mindset
- Short term availability - Availability to support the team as a contingent worker for several months
