Responsibilities
- Develop system solutions and conduct comprehensive system simulations
- Implement fire control and intelligent flow control in air defense systems
- Apply established tools and languages from the fields of data science, signal technology, and machine/deep learning (Matlab, C++, Python) to the job
- Design software modules with a model-based design approach
- Lead complex development tasks with only loosely defined objectives, in collaboration with others
- Create system and interface specifications
- Independently develop and implement software solutions
- Participate in testing, field trials, and customer acceptance activities at home and abroad
- Evaluate results and produce studies and reports
Profile
- University degree in Engineering in Robotics, System and Control; Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Data Science, or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of machine/deep learning, signal technology, optimization, and data fusion
- Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: radar technology, laser technology, electric motors, image processing, infrared technology, real-time systems, measurement technology
- Familiarity with Matlab, and ideally also C/C++, as well as typical software development tools (Git)
- Profound German and English language skills
