Hardware Test Engineer – Onboard Charger (OBC) (m/f/d)
About the company
- The work location can be either Kassel, Ingolstadt or Wolfsburg, with up to 4 days per week in a home office setup.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases for onboard chargers (OBC)
- Set up and commission test systems and prototypes
- Perform functional, stress, and high-voltage tests
- Analyze and document defects and deviations
- Use measurement equipment and test tools for diagnostics
- Create ISO 26262-compliant test reports
- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams
Profile
- Degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Experience in testing OBC or power electronic systems
- ISTQB certification and electrical qualification are a plus
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive testing processes
- Experience with measurement equipment and tools
- Basic understanding of requirements and system architecture
- Experience in OBC projects
- Good German and fluent English skills

Salary information
- The salary depends on the individual skill level and can go up to €140,000 per year.
