  • For our customer, we are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Compensation and Benefits, to lead and shape our client’s total rewards strategy. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of compensation frameworks, benefits design, and market trends. The position involves close interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and colleagues across various regions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage compensation and benefits strategies across the organization
  • Lead benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures
  • Oversee annual salary reviews, bonus schemes, and incentive programs
  • Evaluate job grades, salary ranges, and job descriptions to ensure alignment between role responsibilities, organizational level, and compensation
  • Manage relationships with external providers (e.g., pension and insurance providers)
  • Ensure compliance with local and international labor laws and applicable regulations
  • Advise senior leadership on compensation trends and workforce planning
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in total rewards offerings
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure employee service excellence

Profile

  • Proven experience in a senior compensation and benefits role, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits programs, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
  • Fluency in English; German advantageous
