IT/OT SCADA Transformation Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Support a strategic IT/OT project and actively contribute to the transformation of the real-time SCADA signal data infrastructure
- Defining the transformation strategy from the current PI-based solution to the target architecture
- Actively contributing to the design of the future architecture
- Collecting, confirming, and validating requirements for real-time SCADA data
- Supporting data quality testing of real-time SCADA signal data on a site-by-site basis
Profile
- Solid experience working with SCADA systems, real-time data acquisition, and alarm and event handling, ideally in the renewables sector
- Strong knowledge of the AVEVA OSI PI environment
- Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC-DA, OPC-UA, IEC60870-5-104, Modbus, etc.
- Very good knowledge of relational database systems like MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, including writing queries
- Relevant experience with Azure (Azure databases, Data Lake Gen2, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
- Solid IT knowledge (operating systems, networking)
