Lab Cleaner (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect BSL1/BSL2 laboratory areas according to hygiene instructions
- Document all cleaning and disinfection activities accurately
- Register, label, and collect laboratory waste
- Dispose of collected waste in the designated disposal area
- Collect used lab coats, arrange cleaning, and redistribute clean coats
- Restock PPE and common consumables in all required areas
- Wash laboratory utensils and operate autoclaves/dishwashers
- Support equipment- and pipette-related tasks, including calibration logistics
Profile
- Experience in cleaning or laboratory environments
- Physically fit; able to lift heavy waste bins regularly
- Comfortable working with potentially infectious materials
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- B2-level proficiency in both German and English
