Project Execution Quantity Surveyor (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Technical Change Management and Quantity Surveying activities, ensuring contractual changes, claims, and project impacts are identified, substantiated, and commercially optimized
- Monitor project opportunities and risks, driving mitigation measures where required
- Consult project teams in identifying, assessing, quantifying, and processing contract changes and additional scope, including cost and schedule impact assessments
- Lead change impact evaluations, ensuring all associated cost, time, and resource implications are captured and documented
- Coordinate detailed schedule impact assessments with project management and planning teams, including acceleration and prolongation scenarios
- Consult the Project Core Team on Change Management topics and provide expertise on related matters
- Act as the key interface between onshore and offshore project teams for Change Management activities
- Challenge and negotiate change requests internally and externally to achieve the best commercial outcome
- Interface with Contract Management and key stakeholders to manage change-related matters
- Contribute to claims management, including entitlement assessment, quantification, and substantiation
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven project experience in Quantity Surveying, Change Management, Claims Management, or Contract Management within complex infrastructure, rail or engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contractual processes, including change orders, variations, claims, and entitlement management
- Demonstrated experience in cost estimation, impact assessment, and schedule analysis related to project changes
- Ability to quantify and substantiate cost, time and resource impacts resulting from contractual and technical changes
- Experience in managing stakeholder communication across multidisciplinary and international project teams
- Strong understanding of project controls, risk management, and opportunity management principles
- Familiarity with international contract frameworks such as FIDIC, NEC, or comparable contract forms
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong commercial mindset
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Readiness to travel to other EU countries and the ability to work remotely
