Research Associate - Compound profiling (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Perform compound validation assays, with a primary focus on biochemical methods
- Contribute to the identification of small-molecule molecular glues by supporting the screening team
- Manage internal compound logistics and support the optimization of related workflows
- Characterize and validate candidate molecular glues using biochemical, biophysical, and cellular approaches
- Troubleshoot and refine compound profiling protocols
- Keep accurate, detailed laboratory records; analyze data, and present results in internal project meetings
- Collaborate closely with biology and chemistry teams to ensure timely delivery of profiling data for discovery programs
- Coordinate and monitor outsourced experiments at CROs as needed
Profile
- BSc/MSc in a life science discipline or completed laboratory technician training
- Robust relevant industry experience, ideally in Pharma or Biotech
- Strong background in biochemical assay development and execution, particularly high-throughput fluorescence-based techniques
- Proven experience in quantitative data analysis and interpretation of biochemical assays
- Familiarity with compound library management and database systems is a strong plus
