Sicherheitstechniker/ Technician Security Systems (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems
- Commission, program and test new technical security devices
- Ensure operational availability of physical security systems
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and resolve technical issues
- Work closely with internal departments on planning and implementation of new installations
- Prepare material lists and support on-site inventory management
- Contribute to system design and technical installation concepts
- Maintain technical documentation and system architecture records
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, quality and cost efficiency
- Conduct technical inspections and security-related system checks
Profile
- Experience in installing and maintaining technical security systems
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, access control and video management systems
- Experience with intrusion detection systems and other physical security technologies
- Confident handling of industry-standard installation tools and safety procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and efficiently
- Structured and detail-oriented working style with strong time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment
- Ability to collaborate with different internal stakeholders and technical teams
- Relevant certifications in security systems, e.g. Gallagher, Genetec or Commend, are a plus
- IT-related certifications such as CCNA are beneficial
