AstraZeneca is looking for a Key Account Manager, for their Respiratory Biologics Franchise to join a newly created team with the Franchise Lead and Franchise Head. The role is field based and located in Region Hovedstaden in Denmark with responsibilities of driving commercial interactions towards external stakeholders and performance of their brands. As a Key Account Manager, you will become part of AstraZeneca’s the Respiratory and Immunology Biologics Franchise one of their key growth platforms. AstraZeneca has a strong heritage within respiratory and their portfolio includes established as well as newly launched products. There will be a specific focus on a product which will launch in the fall. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Build, and drive long-term external relationships with key stakeholders in the hospitals in the region
  • Communicate value propositions aligned to stakeholder needs and objectives and recommending solutions to drive and develop business
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to leverage AZ's account management capabilities
  • Pro-actively identify business opportunities in the region through interactions with Pulmonologists, Nurses, KEEs, and regional payers
  • Drive and implement their digital and omnichannel approach towards their customers
Mine kvalifikationer
Knowledge and experience within the Biologics and the Respiratory therapeutic area will be a success factor in this role, as well as experience of working closely with specialists. Your proven ability to understand, assimilate, and communicate scientific information will be as important for the role as will your excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English and Danish. You are patient focused, able to see issues through the lens of a patient as well as the patient journey and relevant treatment options. Furthermore, you should have the following:
  • An academic degree or equivalent with healthcare or commercial background
  • Proven experience from pharmaceutical or med-tech industry sales with specialty care experience
  • Experience in Respiratory, including proven track record of successfully managing key accounts
  • Ability to lead, align and engage cross-functional teams to drive activities and address needs of individual accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal capabilities in building long-lasting relationships and networks
  • Ability and readiness to travel within region and according to role needs
  • Driver's license is required
