My duties
  • In this position, some of your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Identify and initiate improvements regarding standards, processes, and training within the E&ME organization, strategy development, and people management of a team of engineers
  • Lead a team of 8-10 specialists to be the center of excellence by ensuring updated knowledge and external bench marking for element and mould development and design 
  • Energize, motivate, and develop a high-performance team of highly skilled specialists within multiple areas of enabling element and mould technical development 
  • Point of entry and responsible for identifying and securing priority for improvement opportunities across the E&ME organization. Accountable for mobilizing change, to make sure the true needs of the business are surfaced and addressed in the way we are set up and how we work
  • Drive the agenda of Training and Competency development and Capability alignment across E&ME organization through business architects 
  • Key contributor in Element & Mould Engineering (E&ME) leadership team – where you will ensure alignment between road maps within the different E&ME Product Principals
  • Drive alignment with stakeholders both in E&ME and other key stakeholders, e.g. mould manufacturing and supply chain 
  • Lead business plan initiatives, strategy development activities, and in general be a challenger for business status quo, driving a simplicity mindset in solutions
  • Empower the functional experts to unleash their full potential of self-leadership and make a high impact with speed
My qualifications
  • Solid experience within an engineering organization (maybe as management consultant) driving organizational change and digital transformation 
  • An engineering degree with management experience or a MSc degree within engineering experience
  • Six Sigma certification 
  • Strong partner and change management skills
  • Have a high drive and follow through
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of large critical business initiatives and transformations
  • A people leader that creates an environment where trust and relationships are highly valued
  • Solid communication skills: ability to clearly articulate the problem and proposed solution
  • Ability to build compelling product principals, strategy, visions, goal setting and value propositions
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
